“Tonight, on True Crimes, the story of the tooth-tearing tyrant that terrorised the Plains, Dr Paolo Dolce. Those that met Dr Dolce in passing might have seen him as the kind and generous leader of the Gilda di Dentisti, but delve a little deeper and you'd have discovered the dark and dangerous dentist he really was.

This murderous monster took many lives before he was brought to justice, torturing his victims as they died, tearing each and every tooth out, one by one. It was by this method that he was able to gain and secure power within the notorious organisation known as the Avidi, a group of violent and egotistical rebels, which he then used in an assassination attempt against the ruling nobles.

It is said the Dolce would don a disturbing disguise in order to carry out his cruel and calculated crimes, concealing his identity utilising a spooky scary skeleton suit. It is also rumoured that he would accompany his crimes on a brass instrument, creating a spooky scary 'doot doot' sound, sending shivers down the spines of his victims. The location of the trumpet, if it ever existed, it unknown, but stories of its existence still spread from the far edges of the Plain where, it has been told, members of the dismantled Avidi lie in wait for a new master: one who might help them seek that which they desire… revenge.
