With House Gabrielli restablished and the Farnese’s power and reputation thoroughly destroyed it seems as though a happy ending is in sight for Francesco’s adopted children. However just to be on the safe side it seems best to make sure there are no vengeful Farnese lying around to mess everything up. Firstly, to consildate the Gabrielli’s power while ensuring the Farnese cannot make a comeback, Yasmine persuades Cosimo to step up as heir and ensure his idiot brother is left out the picture. He steps forward to stake his claim which is harder than anyone anticipated. Cosimo is not entirely free of the backlash from the leaked footage and there are a handful of social elitists that are either team “Lazzaro” who would essentially be Leopold’s puppet or smart enough to see that the Gabrielli are moving up in the world. Lazzaro reappears to make his own claim, surrounded by thuggish Farnese bodyguards. However Yasmine is able to help sway people to Cosimo’s side and Lazzaro humiliates himself as expected. Within a month Cosimo inherits the entirety of what is left of the Farnese assets, a considerable amount despite damages, and grants all of it to house Gabrielli.

As for Leopold, Yasmine takes a few loyal people from the Caves and hunts down Leopold in Vitorra, warrant for arrest in hand. They eventually find him trying to escape a small nondescript house in one of the outer districts. Yasmine tries to keep violence out of the picture but for the safety of her family, old and new, he cannot be allowed to get away. The team pursue him as he tries to board a small boat, he’s surprisingly fast. Yasmine is able to tackle him as he tries to push the boat out and a fight ensues. He tries to drown her in the shallow waters but one of her companion barrels into him. As the impact knocks him back his head smacks into the side of the boat and bleeds profusely. She considers just leaving him but for Cosimo’s sake drags him back to the beach and sends someone to fetch a doctor. He dies before any help can come but it leaves her conscience somewhat cleaner. Cosimo is understanding but asks to do one small thing before the wedding. He holds a small and very private funeral service for his parents and Darius before sending Lazarro away to a tiny Vineyard in Leone with enough to live comfortably on out of everyone’s way.

Once all legal matters have been settled, the great triple wedding can commence. As high priestess of the Caves Yasmine initiates despite it being her own wedding aswell. The ceremony itself takes place in the Caves. During renovations a cavernous area full of natural crystals had been discovered. In the flickering candlelight it’s one of the most beautiful places in Hashat. Florizel joins hands with Valentina Gabrielli, Bella with Sikar and Yasmine with Cosimo who is there not only in duty but has truly come to love her over the last few years. Three Gabriellis walk in, six walk out and attend a lavish celebration in the Gabrielli family home.

With the family affairs in order, Yasmine is free to focus on new and improved social position as well as her family, old and new. With the Gabrielli now holding the power in Hashat, Yasmine enjoys her new seat on the religious council and continues to look after the people of the Caves who still follow her despite there being no need for factions any more. Even after she passes she lives on through her family and priests of the Caves who view her as a Saint and figurehead of their religion once enough time has passed.
